Helping young people learn basic motor mechanics and practical engineering skills
GASPmotorproject1

At the GASP Motor Project, young people learn basic motor mechanics and practical engineering skills in a modern workshop, currently at Leatherhead in Surrey.

Qualified mechanics run confidence building evening sessions for 14 to 19 year old motor enthusiasts. Our morning programme provides an alternative learning facility for under-achieving and disaffected young people.

All those who attend work in small groups, in a safe and professional space. They start to know their way around a vehicle and learn how it feels to work as a team.

Since GASP was launched in 2005 in a purpose built workshop at Gomshall, we’ve run sessions for a wide range of young people in Surrey. They get hands on experience and achieve more than anyone thought possible.
