At GASP, we run evening sessions for 14 to 18 year old motor enthusiasts. There’s the chance to build off-road and track karts and to study the Highway Code. You may also be trained to drive those karts off-road, so you know what’s safe and know what’s legal. Complete the Introduction course and you’ll be awarded our GASP Certificate. Then you can enrol for more sessions. Some students start to think about a job in motor engineering – and going on to college. GASP gives you a head start. By the time you’re 18, you’ll know your way around a vehicle You’ll get more confident as you get more skilled. You’ll also learn just what it means to be responsible for a vehicle. And you’ll find it’s a great way to develop practical skills and confidence about motor engineering. |
Each term is 13 weeks long – and you can apply to attend one of the two-hour sessions we run three times a week. We make a small charge for each session, to help cover our overheads. It’s easy to join, though sometimes we have a waiting list. We can also run courses specifically for youth groups and schools. If you want to register and attend GASP sessions, email us at info@gaspmotorproject.org or download and print the application form or complete and submit it online. |
